Shortly after the impressive opening of the 21st Athens Jazz with the "Women in Jazz" at the  Technopolis City of Athens and selected venues around the city, Music at Technopolis, the most beloved music event of the summer in the heart of Athens, presents a rich and diverse concert program that will last until the end of September inviting Athenians and visitors to enjoy and have fun. In total, 50 magical evenings full of music of different genres are organized, with the city's most iconic chimneys as their backdrop.

An exhibition that presents a wealth of audiovisual material, including audio archives of oral testimonies of refugees from Asia Minor and relevant photographic material.

On May 30, PavlosKalligas, former director of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi and co-editor of the book Plato's Academy (Cambridge University Press, 2020), will inaugurate this great feast of philosophy with his talk on "Myths and reality about Plato's Academy".

Social Waste are back to the summer stages. After two years of abstinence, they bring their bagpipes, lutes, baglamas, ancient and Pontian Lyres and start an extensive summer tour. Drums, Pontian Lyres, bagpipes, lutes, bass and three singers that rap non-stop on stage are not something you come across in the local nor the European music scene. Their lyrics and sound accompanying them have that particular, Mediterranean and global identity that characterizes Social Waste and their hip hop. That is, after all, what makes the band unique.
