Plisskën Festival returns in summer 2022 with some of the top names in the world’s contemporary music scene. 2 days, four stages, 40+ artists, art & visual installations, a Food Court with the best Greek and international dishes, cool summer drinks, outdoor lounge areas and many more!
Headliners at this year’s Plisskën will be the “soul” of downtempo, BONOBO, one of the most beloved and long-awaited acts, and the multi-talented Canadian CARIBOU, one of the most influential creators of contemporary electronic music, with an audiovisual show, representative of his talent.
Unique live performances from the modern priestess of “fem rap” Princess Nokia, the inspiring British rapper Slowthai, the innovative American DJ Avalon Emerson, the charismatic surf pop band Beach Bunny, the Norwegian phenomenon Boy Pablo, the impressive underground rapper Jay Electronica, the uncompromising Estonian TOMM¥ €A$H and the explosive Yves Tumor & Its Band. The lineup will be complemented by live/DJ sets from celebrated artists of the electronic and techno music scene such as Alexis, DJ Python, Effy, French 79, Godford, LCY, Louisahhh, Rosa Anschütz, rRoxymore, Sherelle and the Palestinian “queen” of techno, Sama’ Abdulhadi. A big part of the lineup of Plisskën Festival 2022 is made up of world-renowned artists who will perform in Athens for the first time, such as Mala Rodríguez, Kampire, keiyaA, KOKOKO!, Lea Porcelain, Pelada, Space Afrika and Tropical Fuck Storm. Some of this year’s most anticipated live acts will be those of PC Music, the future of pop, as it has been called, with EasyFun, Hannah Diamond, Hyd, Namasenda, Petal Supply and Umru appearing for the first time in Greece. BLACKABLACKABLACKA will feature the producer and visual artist Barkley Bandon, DJ duo Black Athena, the electro and experimental producer Grace Ow, the American Goya Gumbani, and the overwhelming screamo rapper Kijha, Melody Gang’s crew and the explosive afro-beat sounds of Ofili.
