Athens Symphony Orchestra & Choir
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Maria Callas, the Athens Symphony Orchestra & Choir presents a tribute concert to the great operatic artist. Three distinguished opera singers, conducted by the Italian conductor Sebastiano Rolli, will present Arias and excerpts from operas uniquely performed by the diva.
The concert includes excerpts from works by Verdi, Gluck, Cherubini, Mascagni, Mozart, Bellini, Beethoven, Donizetti, Puccini, and Rossini.
