
Born in 1906 in Pramanta, Ioannina. He was a teacher, a member of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), president of the progressive teachers’ association “Anagennisis,” and editor of the newspaper of the same name. He participated in the Anti-Dictatorship Front of Macedonia.
A political prisoner since the Metaxas dictatorship, he was held in the camps of Akronafplia (1938-41), Larissa (1942-43), and Chaidari (1943-44). He was executed on May Day 1944 in Kaisariani. Among the few possessions he left behind was his watch, which had stopped at 5:30.
