Vasso Katraki, one of the most important engravers of the 20th century, left her mark on the style of post-war engraving in Greece through her ceaseless explorations and innovative methods.
The exhibition showcases a significant, albeit lesser-known, part of the inspiration and early stages leading to the realization of Katraki’s work. It highlights the initial stage of drawing, which then leads to the final composition, engraving, and ultimately the print—the finished result.
