Free Admission
Sunday, July 21st and Monday, August 19th
The Maria Callas Museum and the historic Athens Conservatoire welcome the public for two special musical evenings with free admission.
On July 21st from 20:00 to 23:00 and on August 19th from 19:00 to 23:00, visitors will have the opportunity to get their aperitifs from the museum’s café, explore the exhibition spaces, and discover the life and work of the great opera diva. On the third floor, students of the Athens Conservatoire will perform arias and duets, offering attendees an unforgettable musical experience. Come and enjoy two enchanting musical evenings filled with art and melodies, under the light of the full moon, with the impressive backdrop of the Acropolis.
These events are part of the ongoing academic and artistic collaboration between the Maria Callas Museum and the Athens Conservatoire—where Maria Callas began studying in 1939—aimed at establishing the Museum as a venue for nurturing and showcasing new musicians.
The program is overseen by Philippos Tsalahouris, Director of the Music Schools of the Athens Conservatoire.
