Starting in June, we’re bringing you an unforgettable musical experience featuring live bands, troubadours, and special tributes in celebration of World Music Day. Athens’ own radio station, Athens 9.84, has arranged a series of radio concerts in a stunning and unexpected location in the city. The Athens City Hall welcomes all music lovers to come and enjoy free live concerts under the night sky with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. The concerts are open to the public upon an invitation, which you may win by tuning in to the station’s 98.3 FM and following its social media pages. Let’s celebrate the arrival of summer together in the heart of Athens!
“The Soundtrack of Our Lives”
Join us on a musical journey with beloved songwriter Vangelis Germanos, whose songs have been the soundtrack to our lives for decades. He will perform classic hits and new tracks from his latest album, “Rolling Stone.” Germanos is a timeless artist who captures the essence of different generations, singing about our stories, loves, city life, and exotic dreams. Three talented musicians will accompany him, while Sassa Papalambrou will also grace the stage with her piano and vocals.
