Are you ready to jazz? Athens Jazz, the biggest jazz festival in Greece, celebrates its 22nd anniversary at the Technopolis City of Athens and all around the City with a week full of music, happenings and soon-to-be-announced news!
For seven days in a row, from May 22 to 28, 2023, the longest-running music festival in Athens with free entrance will host once again on the Technopolis main stage trends from every part of the world. The festival’s first day (Monday, May 22 2023) is dedicated exclusively to Greek jazz, presenting the best Greek jazz bands, which, as every year, are chosen by a three-member artistic committee of Athens Jazz, George Charonitis (Journalist, Music Editor), GiorgosMouchtaridis (Radio Producer, Director of Athens Voice Radio 102.5) and Leonidas Antonopoulos (Music Producer, Head of Kosmos 93.6).
The open call aims to put forward three music groups in total:
- The official Greek participation that will represent our country in the international program of the festival,
- the new music proposal of Athens Jazz by young and emerging artists and
- a Jazz+ proposal, an artist or musical ensemble not necessarily Jazz world but combines elements of jazz with one or more music genres.
Win a place in the top jazz event in the City, improvise before thousands of visitors from Greece and abroad, and make your sound heard by an even bigger audience.

Demo submission instructions:
1. Each nomination must consist of four to ten songs, a curriculum vitae of the group and the representative’s contact details.
2. The songs must be converted into mp3 files (quality from 192Kbps to 320Kbps).
3. All demos must be uploaded to a file-sharing platform (Wetransfer, Sendspace, Dropbox) as individual files or as a zip format file.
4. Demos must be sent via the file-sharing platform to elinalin@athens-technopolis.gr and antonis.zouganelis@gmail.com
