The Technopolis City of Athens is to undertake, under a Program Contract with the City of Athens, the Region of Attica and the Ministry of Culture, the management and operation of the Kypseli Municipal Market. In this context, it invites interested parties wishing to lease premises at the Kypseli Municipal Market to submit an application and a detailed note describing their activity and declaring their agreement with the criteria set in the Call to the following web address: info@athens-technopolis.gr<\/a>,by February 28, 2023<\/strong>. The spaces available for rent are about 15 sq.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To meet the contract criteria, interested parties should:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Be residents of Athens or have their registered office in the City of Athens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Have a productive activity in a workshop that involves manufacturing products from one or more raw materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Be interested in selling their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Be willing, at times and days mutually agreed, to allow visits and tours to their workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) Be willing to regularly organize workshops to present their craft and techniques to interested parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Comply with the Rules of Procedure of the Kypseli Municipal Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kypseli Municipal Market will provide the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The space with a low rent and a lease duration of up to two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– A significant number of popular events to attract visitors, thus allowing tenants to promote their products and craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Promotion in the context of the broader promotional strategy for the Kypseli Municipal Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–          All basic shared infrastructure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7      Security services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7      Cleaning services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7      Internet services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lessees’ intention to establish their workshop at the Kypseli Municipal Market is considered an important selection criterion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technopolis will select the interested parties who best meet the requirements mentioned in this Call. It is noted that the Call for expression of interest procedure is not a competitive tendering procedure, while any counterparty selection is purely linked to the acceptance of the proposal. Consequently, the Call process is not required to establish a “ranking list” or a respective table.
