Let’s walk around Athens and explore it with an educational game that invites us all to rediscover our city! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the suggested routes and track down some exceptional monuments, statues, graffiti and landmarks. Then, answer the knowledge and observation questions and create a rich collection of monuments and statues! From Syntagma to Plaka, Monastiraki and the Athenian Trilogy, every corner is waiting to be revealed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Find monuments and statues in downtown Athens!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a> – Answer the knowledge and observation questions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Add monuments and statues to your collection!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Collect points and climb up the Leaderboard!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Post a photo of the monument on Instagram with the hashtag #kids4thecity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app is educational and designed for high school students. Through knowledge and observation questions related to monuments, statues and landmarks of the city of Athens, students come into contact with the city’s collective memory, become aware of the public space and learn history in an experiential and interdisciplinary way. The educational app “Kids4thecity” is free of charge, created in the framework of the innovative educational program of the City of Athens, “The Child, the City and the Monuments”.
