A professor of Topography at the Evelpidon Military Academy, Kyriazis was a member of the “Midas 614” group led by Ioannis Tsigantes. He was involved in the information networks of the Allied forces with the goal of instigating sabotage. As a senior officer in the Army Geographic Service, he pinpointed German positions using official cartographic representations.<\/p>\n
The Germans captured him on May 25, 1944. He was executed on September 8, 1944, in the Chaidari forest, alongside members of secret resistance organizations, including the legendary Lela Karagiani from the “Bouboulina” resistance group.<\/p>\n
In 2016, his remains were transferred to the Kyriatzis family grave at the First Cemetery of Athens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
