He was a teacher, a member of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), president of the progressive teachers&#8217; association &#8220;Anagennisis,&#8221; and editor of the newspaper of the same name. He participated in the Anti-Dictatorship Front of Macedonia.<\/p>\n<p>A political prisoner since the Metaxas dictatorship, he was held in the camps of Akronafplia (1938-41), Larissa (1942-43), and Chaidari (1943-44). He was executed on May Day 1944 in Kaisariani.
