It is an amalgamation of the Greek word &#8220;soma&#8221;, meaning body, and the Latin word &#8220;sonus&#8221;, meaning sound. The highly acclaimed choreographer Marcos Morau has collaborated with his group La Veronal to create a performance that takes inspiration from the dream world of the famous surrealist filmmaker Luis Bu\u00f1uel. The piece is a beautiful blend of elements drawn from folklore traditions, religion, cinema, and art history.
