For the fifth consecutive year, Athens Music Week returns 29 May – 01 June, at the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, Boiler<\/strong>, Crust<\/strong> and Six d.o.g.s,<\/strong> presenting the richest program of the event so far, full of panels, presentations, speeches, open roundtables discussions, educational workshops, showcase concerts in the heart of the city, open-air happenings, but also a big closing live event on the main stage of Technopolis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live from “inside” the present and future of the music industry, meet people and networks that will help you promote your music to the rest of the world, learn alternative ways to increase your music revenue and discover all the new, dynamic trends that shape the future of the music industry. What opportunities and threats does Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong> bring to music reality and what happens to copyright? How can you make the most of YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok to promote your music? What role do music critics play today, and, ultimately, how inclusive is the music industry?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the concerts of Greek and foreign artists are the ones that give the rhythm inside and outside Technopolis, as this year the live, musical action moves to the heart of the city, and in particular to Boiler, Crust and Six d.o.g.s, setting up a large stage in the urban landscape. The concert showcase program combines new and timeless trends focusing on the promotion of Greek musicians, while introducing foreign artists to the domestic scene for the first time. Along with the lineup of the live stage at the main stage of Technopolis that will close the event, they form an exciting festival program that includes so far Bad focus, Cinemon, Hey! Douglas, K not K, OROVEGA, The Steams, Paidi Trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For yet another year, Athens Music Week welcomes representatives of two of the most active international networks for the independent music sector, Impala – Independent Music Companies Association and International Music Managers Forum (IMMF), which aim at the sustainable development of small\/medium companies, the attribution of greater value to independent artists and the increase of access to finance.  as well as Music Tech Europe which aims to create synergies and opportunities between the technology and music industries. At the same time, the event highlights the value of showcase festivals for the sustainable future of the music industry, inviting members of some of the most important in Europe, such as Eurosonic (ESNS), Linecheck and Reeperbahn, while it is also worth noting that this year’s Athens Music Week will bring together for the first time ever representatives of music organizations from the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean with the aim of boosting their partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
