Dimitris Kalantzis is bringing a program full of nostalgia to the Olympia stage, offering a real treat for music enthusiasts. As a leading pianist and arranger, he has previously delighted audiences with jazz renditions of works by great artists like Manos Hadjidakis and Mikis Theodorakis. This time, he is taking us on a journey back in time to the roots of Greek music through his own unique orchestrations and transcriptions for Big Band. By reworking favourite melodies by Kostas Kapnisis, Alekos Sakellariou, Kostas Giannidis, Takis Morakis, and more, he is transforming the familiar musical landscape through a fresh approach to music. Accompanying him are the talented performers Athina Routsi and Teri Vakirtzoglou, who are sure to add a special touch to the performance.
