The Municipality of Athens invited artists to submit their proposals for “All Athens is a Stage*” project curated by the City of Athens Cultural, Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA). From June 18 to July 31, the project aspires to bring together audiences and artists in 17 neighbourhoods of Athens in all City Districts with more than seventy (70) events.

The Mayor of Athens, Kostas Bakoyannis, inaugurating the project, said: “Now, we need Culture more than ever. We need to go out, be entertained, and have fun in the parks, theatres and squares of our neighbourhoods with our family, friends and neighbours. And this is exactly what we are trying to do with our new project, “All Athens is a Stage”, supporting, as we did during the pandemic, artists and cultural workers because we deserve to enjoy wonderful Athenian cultural summers!”

The Open Theatres of Kolonos and Grava, the Pangrati and Probonas Parks, Lambrakis Hill, Avdi, Koumoundourou, Victoria, AgiosEleftheriosAcharnon, Plyta and Agia Marina squares, the Gardens of the Arts Centre at ParkoEleftherias and the Municipal Library of Athens in Larissa Station, the Koninstra and Ellinoroson Sports Facilities and the FokionosNegri pedestrian street will host “All Athens is a Stage”. The Musical Ensembles of the Municipality of Athens are part of

this cultural journey, collaborating with excellent artists, promising exceptional evenings full of melodies.
