Sunday, November 6, 2022 | Free of charge participation – Advanced reservation required
What does light have to do with Plato’s philosophy? How are books and works of art connected? “Sundays in Athens”, the favourite activity of children and grownups, is back on Sunday, November 6 with a series of original events highlighting the vital concept of inclusion. This time, the museums and cultural venues of the City of Athens are collaborating to create innovative educational programs inviting children from the age of 5 to discover in a fun way that we are “all unique, all equal”!
It is the last “Sunday” of the successful, top-rated series of activities that started in March, offering once-a-month creative learning activities for free at the museums and cultural venues of the City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA) and the Industrial Gas Museum at the Technopolis City of Athens, in the framework the Culture Is Athens project.
This last “Sunday in Athens” is organised in two venues: the Plato’s Academy Digital Museum, which will host the team of the Industrial Gas Museum that has designed a fantastic art workshop, and the Athens Municipal Art Gallery, which collaborates with the Athens Municipal Library in an exciting educational program. Participation is free of charge, but advance reservation is deemed necessary.
