Cupid breaking bow

The “Cupid breaking bow” is a marble sculpture by Georgios Vroutos (1843-1909), made at the end of the 19th century. The statue is located in the open-air sculpture gallery at the Zappeion Gardens. It depicts the god Eros sitting on a rock, trying to break his bow.
