City of Athens Symphony Orchestra
The City of Athens Symphony Orchestra presents works by two of the most important representatives of 20th-century Russian music: the “Festive Overture” by Dmitri Shostakovich and the “Symphony No. 5” by Sergei Prokofiev. The program also includes the Piano and Orchestra Concerto written by George Doussis, one of the most active Greek composers, presented in its first world premiere.
